Awards Information

The Wetland Globes were developed by the World Wetland Network to encourage best practice in wetland management. They were non-financial awards, and were given to the wetland itself, to demonstrate wetlands either in good condition (blue globe) or wetlands under threat (grey globe).  Two rounds of the awards were run in 2010 and 2012, and you can find details of the 'winners' in the sub-pages on this site (to the right).  They serve to show how much work and passion civil socieyt has for their wetlands, an inspiration to all of us.
